Asimov 1 hardware design: Menlo Research. CERN-OHL-S-2.0.

Korthos modification 2026-10-03: visual meshes converted to indexed glTF; triangle count reduced for browser display, neutral display material; original body placement retained. No physics, collision meshes or motor-control simulation.

Modified source: build-model.py alongside this notice, using source meshes at the pinned upstream location. This converted model and conversion source are provided under CERN-OHL-S-2.0.

2026-10-03 Korthos study: optional custom display materials and original procedural hands attached at the wrist nodes, plus illustrative neck articulation. The Asimov reference option removes these additions. Published MJCF joint axes, limits and reference angles drive the other articulation controls. No simulated balance, gait, collisions or ground contact. Original procedural additions and combined derived display are supplied under CERN-OHL-S-2.0 when distributed with this reference. Addition source: ../reference-hand.js and ../model-viewer.js.

2026-10-03 correction: the local overview now shows only the separate Asimov reference, with no added hands or invented neck articulation. The previous Korthos study is no longer displayed. Independent procedural humanoid and hand experiments remain saved as rejected drafts, not finished designs.

2026-10-06 source-availability repair: conversion inputs pinned to the original commit; portable build paths; bundled original simulation files, upstream notices and conversion source. The display geometry is unchanged.

Model and conversion-source licence: CERN-OHL-S-2.0. Upstream files retain their own notices; both upstream hardware and software licences accompany the source bundle. The bundle reconstructs the browser reference, not a complete manufacturing package. Full upstream hardware source remains at the pinned source location above.
