About bestat
bestat originated from the University of Tokyo’s Matsuo laboratory and develops 3D.Core for industrial sites. The platform turns photographs, video and point clouds into usable 3D models, then supports measurement, layout review, maintenance planning and digital-twin workflows across factories and infrastructure.
The robotics layer uses those reconstructed environments before equipment is installed. At Amatsuji Steel Ball, 3D.Core is being used to build a virtual factory environment for checking collaborative-robot reach, motion and interference. That is operational software adoption for deployment planning, not evidence that bestat manufactures the robot hardware.
