About Evocortex

Evocortex was a Nuremberg robotics company founded in 2016 around configurable autonomous transport platforms. EvoRobot combined omnidirectional Mecanum drive, an integrated lifting option and millimetre-scale floor-feature localisation, while EvoCarrier targeted smaller load carriers and coordinated transport.

The company also developed the Evocortex Localization Module, which used a downward-facing camera to map natural floor irregularities without installed markers. German registry reporting records insolvency proceedings and dissolution in October 2024. Third-party robotics catalogues still document the product family, but the company is not treated as an active supplier.
