About GEFIT
GEFIT is an Italian industrial-automation group founded in 1967. Its Automation Division designs assembly lines, robotic cells and control systems, principally for automotive-component production; the Moulds & Assembly Division produces thermoplastic moulds and high-speed assembly machinery for food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical customers.
The company combines system integration with its own robotics technology. GREG is a natural-language robot-programming assistant whose spatial-awareness layer uses RealSense depth data, while GEFIT's vision platform supports fixture-free picking and collaborative human detection. RealSense also identifies planned expansion of that perception stack across GEFIT AMR product lines.
