About Henkel
Henkel develops formulations with customers through application laboratories as well as supplying finished materials. Its Inspiration Center Düsseldorf houses an automated laboratory that prepares, tests and screens formulations, with a cloud platform capturing the material-development process. The Lab of Printing Technologies works on additive manufacturing, printed electronics and electrically conductive adhesives. Customers can use workshops, application tests and specialist support to connect material selection with their manufacturing process.
The industrial offer also extends to application equipment. Henkel's Sonderhoff portfolio combines sealing, potting and bonding materials with automated dispensing machines, allowing the chemistry and its application process to be developed together. For electronics and automation hardware, thermal-interface materials remove heat, while coatings, encapsulants, gaskets and sealants protect assemblies against moisture, dust and operational stress. This materials-and-process work sits within Adhesive Technologies, alongside the group's separate Consumer Brands business.
