About Liberaware
Liberaware is a Japanese developer of compact indoor drones and inspection-data services for spaces that are difficult or unsafe for people to enter. Its IBIS family is built for confined, GPS-denied environments such as plants, tunnels, bridge interiors, pipes, sewers and disaster sites, where conventional outdoor aircraft have limited clearance.
The current IBIS2 measures about 20 by 20 centimetres and weighs roughly 243 grams. An updated battery increased stated maximum flight time to 12 minutes in 2025. Liberaware combines aircraft rental and inspection services with image analysis, mapping, autonomous patrol and custom development, and customer cases cover rail, roads, water infrastructure, industrial plants and construction. The company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in July 2024.
