About Poseidon Aerospace

Poseidon Aerospace is developing a freight network around aircraft it designs and intends to operate itself. Its initial platforms address two different kinds of access: Egret is a fixed-wing freighter for paved or unfinished airstrips, while Heron is a seaplane for coastal and offshore routes with water-based takeoff and landing. Egret's cargo layout combines nose and rear doors, a deployable ramp and a flat floor for pallet handling. Both designs use internal-combustion propulsion and support remote piloting, with autonomous operation part of the planned capability.

The commercial model centres on operating regional cargo services, with routes adjusted to customer demand; the aircraft are also being developed for defense resupply in remote and infrastructure-constrained locations. Poseidon flew its quarter-scale Seagull demonstrator in 2025 to test design and control concepts. As of September 2026, the full-scale Egret remains in development, with its first uncrewed flight targeted by year-end and a first production line still being established.
