About ROPCA
ROPCA builds an automated musculoskeletal-ultrasound workflow around ARTHUR and DIANA. ARTHUR positions an ultrasound probe and scans finger, hand and wrist joints without a sonographer conducting the acquisition; DIANA grades the resulting images and prepares structured reports for specialist review.
The system is designed for rheumatology clinics facing limited imaging capacity and variable operator availability. ARTHUR is CE marked, and ARTHUR and DIANA received FDA 510(k) clearance in August 2026. ROPCA also began its first UK installation at Royal Berkshire Hospital that month.
