About SNT Motiv
SNT Motiv is a South Korean manufacturer founded in 1981 with businesses in automotive components, motors, electronics, chassis systems and defence products. Its precision-manufacturing base includes motors, drives and actuator-related technology that the company is bringing into a broader robotics programme.
SNT Motiv acquired full ownership of SNT Robotics in March 2026 to combine component and manufacturing capability with finished-robot development. On 1 September 2026, its board approved a small-scale absorption merger of the wholly owned subsidiary, citing operating efficiency, project execution and robotics-business competitiveness. The approved transaction had not yet completed at the publication date, so SNT Robotics remains identified separately while its planned consolidation is recorded.
