About SPG
SPG manufactures standard and custom geared motors, gearheads and precision reducers through Korean production operations. Its established portfolio serves factory automation, appliances, mobility equipment and other electromechanical systems that require compact speed reduction and torque transmission.
For robotics, SPG supplies precision reducer technology used inside joint and drive assemblies rather than complete robots. The KAIROS programme provides a concrete platform qualification: SPG reducers were integrated into standard humanoid drive modules at the waist, hips and ankles, following joint actuator-development work with the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials.
