Teledyne Valeport is a Totnes, UK marine-instrumentation manufacturer established in 1969. It designs and manufactures sound-velocity sensors, conductivity-temperature-depth instruments, current and flow meters, optical sensors and multi-parameter profilers for hydrographic survey, environmental monitoring, offshore energy, dredging and scientific work.
The business remained a distinct legal and operating entity after Teledyne Technologies acquired Valeport on 10 April 2024 for $35 million in cash, net of cash acquired. It now trades as Teledyne Valeport within Teledyne Marine. Its instruments are also used as inputs to autonomous marine systems: OceanAlpha integrated a Valeport MiniSVS into its SL40 USV before the Teledyne acquisition.
