Acieta's Automated Rivet Insertion System is a dedicated pneumatic machine for tractor-trailer sidewall production. Its air-powered insertion mechanism concentrates on a single repetitive fastening process, supporting posts that require many rivets along their length. The system was developed for Manac's production workflow, where a complete sidewall can require 1,500 to 3,000 rivets.

Acieta reports that the machine inserts 140 rivets in under 20 seconds with 98–99% accuracy. The combination of rapid insertion and repeatable placement reduces the amount of manual fastening and subsequent rework. A comparatively simple mechanical design also limits maintenance requirements and replacement-part costs for this high-volume assembly step.
