About Bathroom Fan Assembly Cell

Acieta's Bathroom Fan Assembly Cell uses a palletised conveyor to carry components through sequential assembly stations. Robots and operators share the initial loading work, after which vision systems identify and locate parts presented by flexible feeders. The picking process accommodates changes in incoming position and orientation across Broan-NuTone's component range.

Robots, drivers and presses then perform operations including label application, screwdriving and torque-nut driving. Conveyor carriers maintain the sequence and timing between stations through to outfeed. Combining flexible part presentation with controlled pallet movement allows one installation to process a varied fan-component mix while preserving a common assembly flow.
