About Brokk 170
Brokk 170 is a remote-controlled electric demolition robot sized to pass through standard door openings. Its articulated boom accepts breakers, concrete crushers, shears, buckets, grapples and other hydraulic tools for construction, process-industry and hazardous-site work. Individually deployed outriggers stabilise the tracked chassis during heavy breaking and crushing.
A 24-kilowatt Brokk SmartPower electrical system supplies the machine, which can operate from a 32-amp or 63-amp connection. SmartRemote keeps the operator away from the immediate work zone and provides machine control and feedback. The model remains compatible with attachments developed for the Brokk 160 and was introduced with a stated 15 percent power increase over that predecessor.
