About TRX

TRX is General Dynamics Land Systems’ ten-ton tracked robotic combat-vehicle platform. A flat modular deck supports payloads for reconnaissance, counter-unmanned-aircraft work, electronic warfare, resupply and other missions. The vehicle’s hybrid-electric drive provides onboard power for sensors and mission equipment while retaining tracked cross-country mobility.

The platform is approximately 194 inches long, less than 89 inches wide and 53 inches high. General Dynamics gives TRX a payload of about five tons, a top speed of 45 miles per hour and a range exceeding 300 miles. Its development programme has used field experiments and mission-module configurations to evaluate how unmanned vehicles can support Army formations.
