About Brake Valve Assembly and Test System

JR Automation's Brake Valve Assembly and Test System uses self-contained Fast Flex modules linked by power-and-free conveyors. Each module has its own controls, guarding and powered conveyor section, with servo-driven pick-and-place equipment performing its process. Touchscreens display station information and provide access to other nodes on the network.

Modules can be added, removed, exchanged or transferred to another line as product requirements change. The 24-module installation combined laser welding, testing and final assembly for several ABS cartridge types, and was subsequently reconfigured and moved from Holland to Germany. Its architecture links high-speed production with the ability to alter individual sections of the assembly sequence.
