About Ferret

Ferret is Puralink’s modular robot for inspecting pipe networks from DN150 upward. Its patented drive architecture and active suspension maintain traction through bends, intersections, manholes, debris and misalignments; in DN150–DN300 assets the chassis can expand against the wall for vertical travel. The robot can cover up to one kilometre from a single access point and runs for up to 20 hours on replaceable battery modules.

HD CCTV, LiDAR and positional sensors capture condition imagery and spatial mapping, while PuralinkOS stores, reviews and exports the resulting inspection records. The tether provides live data and a physical recovery path, with an operator supervising autonomous navigation and condition assessment from the surface station. Ferret remains pre-commercial: initial units are allocated to a fully subscribed 2026 design-partner programme, with broader pre-orders and deliveries planned after field feedback.
