About Throwbot 2

Throwbot 2 sends live video and sound to an OCU II handheld unit, letting an operator look and listen before entering a room or confined area. Infrared illumination extends observation into darkness, while the robot remains directly driven by the operator. The SearchStick accessory provides another approach by turning the robot into a pole-mounted observation camera.

Accessory choice changes its physical role. The Carry and Tow conversion supports carrying or towing a combined load, whereas the Rugged XL conversion increases obstacle clearance. Neither capability is part of the unmodified robot's standard payload rating.
