About Bitrack System
Bitrack System is a surgical platform with four arms and a passive floating fulcrum at the instrument entry point. Two passive articulations accommodate movement around the incision, including motion associated with breathing. Its column arrangement provides access around the patient while the surgeon operates through a console with a 3D display.
The system supports a hybrid workflow in which conventional laparoscopic instruments can be used with a robot-controlled camera, and robotic manipulation can be introduced for selected steps. Compatibility extends to recommended models of trocars, cameras and electrosurgical equipment. Its robotic instruments provide seven degrees of freedom and are designed for single use, linking instrument articulation with a workflow that avoids their reprocessing between procedures.
