About 1850 E
TopTec 1850 E is a remote-controlled demolition robot built around a solid-steel tracked chassis. Its two supporting beams are driven separately for positioning, and a three-part boom carries hydraulic breakers, crushers and other demolition tools through a quick-coupler interface. Operators control the machine by cable or radio remote from outside the immediate work zone.
An 18.5-kilowatt electrohydraulic unit powers attachments weighing up to 300 kilograms. TopTec presented the prototype in 1999 and continues to manufacture the model in Germany for demolition and concrete-breaking work, including confined or structurally sensitive sites where a compact tracked carrier can place heavy tooling without putting an operator on the machine.
