About GP280
GP280 combines heavy-load handling with a compact arm profile that can enter confined working areas. Its wrist inertia capacity is relevant to large tools and workpieces whose mass is spread away from the flange, making load distribution part of application selection.
Yaskawa supplies the arm for operation with YRC1000 and offers a PLd Category 3 Functional Safety Unit. Internal user wiring, air connections and a fieldbus cable tube support tooling integration. The robot's protection rating distinguishes the main body from the wrist rather than treating the entire machine as equally sealed.
