The Vancouver company did not disclose the amount raised. The capital will support recruitment, product development and international expansion. Its 4D Vision platform combines three-dimensional vision with AI to locate and guide the handling of parts in applications including bin picking, de-racking and assembly. Apera says the system can accommodate changing lighting, shifting bins, gripper wear and variable part geometry. It reported nearly threefold year-on-year revenue growth and customers including all six major North American automotive OEMs and more than 100 industrial manufacturers. The company appointed Peter Brouwer as senior vice president of global sales, Genèse Castonguay as vice president of marketing, Joseph Lee as CFO and Robert St-Jacques as vice president of people. It also planned to double its sales team and open a Detroit office in autumn 2025.
