The company presented the combined footprint as passing 1,100 installations; its detailed figures distinguish operating systems from those still pending. The regional systems encompassed 34,301 robots, 33.7 million storage bins and 8,659 ports. AutoStore’s architecture uses robots travelling over a dense storage grid to retrieve bins and deliver them to workstations. Its EMEA customers span retail, e-commerce, healthcare and manufacturing, and the company said the region had added 322 systems in recent years. AutoStore also appointed Frode S. Robberstad as EMEA president and introduced a regional operating model effective 1 May. Partner sales, solution consulting, business development, customer success, marketing and technical account management came under one leadership team. Robberstad had helped develop the company’s partner network and commercial presence since 2017. At the announcement date, AutoStore cited more than 1,650 systems across nearly 60 countries worldwide and over 1,200 customers. The regional figures count warehouse systems and their component robots separately; they describe the accumulated footprint rather than installations delivered during 2025 alone.
