The company described a planned 435-robot rollout, clarifying the operating count a year after deployment began. The update identifies 121 robots in the welding workshop and 150 in final assembly. They deliver components rather than carry out welding or assembly themselves. ForwardX says the welding fleet handles 32 part types and more than half of material demand, while final assembly handles 95 part types and nearly 80% of the materials required by the line. The fleet uses ForwardX’s fourth-generation platform, combining vision-based navigation with software that coordinates transport tasks across workshops. A May 2025 announcement had described 435 robots as deployed; the March 2026 update distinguishes that planned total from more than 270 operating robots. The reported daily vehicle output describes the factory as a whole, rather than production attributable solely to its AMRs.
