Its announcement names strategic investors SAIC Motor, Baidu, Shoucheng Holdings, Malaysia’s Eastworlds and GALBOT, alongside financial investors including GL Ventures, SUNHELM, CITIC Goldstone, CCB International and Huatai Zijin. The Beijing company builds data and evaluation infrastructure for embodied AI. Wearable recording systems capture human movements and object interactions in homes, factories and logistics operations. Its GenDAS collection interface, GenMatrix data-management system and GenADP distributed production pipeline prepare recordings for model training, followed by evaluation on physical robots. GenRobot says effective data delivery has increased from roughly 100,000 to more than 1 million hours per quarter. It reports cooperation with more than 30 domestic and international AI companies and targets quarterly delivery of 10 million hours during 2027. Its data pipeline records human demonstrations and processes motion, visual and interaction information into training material for embodied and world models. Founded in May 2025, GenRobot is led by Chen Jianxing, formerly a senior algorithm executive at Momenta. Its development programme spans demonstration collection, data processing, world-model data and physical-robot evaluation, with overseas business also expanding. GenRobot plans to introduce the Ego 2.0 and Dex 2.0 collection products during the Conference on Robot Learning.
