Nauticus Robotics and Forum Energy Technologies announced a manufacturing and sales agreement on 11 December 2025 for the Olympic Arm electric underwater manipulator. Forum will lead commercialisation, manufacturing and distribution, while Nauticus continues developing the robotics and intelligent-control technology.
The companies will refine the manipulator’s design for reliability and field servicing before full-scale commercial production. Nauticus plans to license its designs through Forum’s existing subsea manufacturing and customer-support network. Olympic Arm is a manipulation subsystem for underwater work.
The agreement follows an October 2025 commercial project in which Nauticus’ ToolKITT control software operated on a Forum ROV off the US Gulf Coast. Nauticus is developing perception-assisted control, dexterous manipulation and supervised autonomous functions within the software. These capabilities remain part of its development roadmap; the agreement does not disclose a minimum arm order or production quantity.
