Installation was planned for the first half of 2025 at the third-party logistics operator’s facility serving consumer-packaged-goods and other growing brands. The system combines Lumabot autonomous mobile robots with Pyxis software, which coordinates robot and picker movements. Workers receive directions through wearable devices and place goods onto illuminated shelving positions on the robots. The arrangement is intended to reduce walking and support larger order volumes while retaining human picking. FST said the project would support its pick-and-pack operations and customer fulfilment services. The announcement identifies the selected technology and deployment schedule, without disclosing an initial robot quantity or an achieved picking-rate result.
