The company describes the financing as an expansion of its previously announced $160 million Series D to $275 million, including the loan. Reliable says its valuation now exceeds $1 billion and cumulative equity funding has passed $380 million. Returning investor Nimble Partners led the financing. New investors include Gideon Capital, RockCreek, Geek Ventures, Gold Hill Capital and Sparkwave Capital, alongside further participation from Island Green Partners. The capital will fund additional aircraft, production facilities and recruitment as Reliable develops its aircraft-autonomy systems for commercial cargo and military operations. Reliable is pursuing FAA certification of its Reliable Autonomy System on the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan. The system combines high-integrity navigation, full-authority flight controls and four-dimensional flight planning to automate taxiing, takeoff, cruise and landing. Its development programme also includes Reliable Radar, supporting detection of other aircraft and integration with existing aviation infrastructure. The company’s selection in the FAA’s Advanced Air Mobility Integration Pilot Program supports pre-certification cargo operations connecting communities in New Mexico and Colorado. Reliable also holds contracts with multiple U.S. military branches and has completed military airworthiness review processes with the Air Force, giving the same autonomy programme both civil and defence applications. Alongside the financing, Reliable announced engineering offices in Seattle and San Diego. Seattle will house a radar centre of excellence, while the additional sites expand a footprint already covering Mountain View, San Martin and Albuquerque. The company reports more than 250 employees and plans to recruit across its engineering teams as aircraft operations and certification work expand.
