The payloads provide passive acoustic detection for undersea surveillance and maritime-domain awareness. KraitArray is a compact, modular towed array designed around the low power, weight and drag requirements of persistent uncrewed platforms. SEA and Liquid Robotics had collaborated for more than a decade, refining the payload for long-duration autonomous operations. The new contract expands that existing integration. SEA reported more than 50 KraitArray systems already deployed across the UK, Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia. The new order is for 22 acoustic sensing systems; it does not establish delivery of 22 complete Wave Glider vehicles. Liquid Robotics is part of Boeing.
