Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify co-led the round. Participants included Dell Technologies Capital, Point72, AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital and J.P. Morgan. Source: SiMa.ai The company builds low-power edge AI compute for physical systems. Its platform combines Modalix MLSoC hardware with the Palette software stack so perception, navigation and reasoning models can run locally on robots, drones, autonomous vehicles and industrial equipment. Modalix is in production, and SiMa offers a 50-TOPS system-on-module for embedded deployments. SiMa has increasingly positioned the platform around physical AI, including humanoid robotics. It demonstrated NVIDIA's GR00T 1.5 stack running on Modalix, using a robot arm to place pens in a holder. Other work has targeted autonomous drones and robotic systems. The new capital will support expansion of Palette Neat, SiMa's agentic development environment, and a third-generation compute platform targeting 1,000 dense TOPS. The company plans to introduce the next hardware generation in the first half of 2028; its current Modalix generation offers 50 TOPS. --- Have a robotics update Korthos should review?
