Unitree entered its first day of trading in Shanghai after raising RMB6.1 billion (approximately $904 million) in its IPO. Shares opened at RMB1,100 (approximately $163), 629% above the RMB150.80 offer price, before closing at RMB845 (approximately $125), up 460%. On the same day, Chery-backed AiMOGA said it is also preparing for an IPO. It is far from the only company currently pursuing this path. Many other major names in Chinese humanoid and embodied robotics have recently filed, entered listing processes or begun preparing for IPOs. AgiBot, X Square Robot and Galbot have moved into Hong Kong listing processes, while Deep Robotics and Leju Robotics have entered mainland IPO processes. The broader queue also includes LimX Dynamics and RobotEra. The pipeline is not limited to companies with humanoid ambitions. Hong Kong alone has at least 46 robotics-related companies in its IPO pipeline, representing more than 10% of applicants, according to Bloomberg data. --- Have a robotics update Korthos should review?
