About Rob Surgical
Rob Surgical develops the Bitrack System, a robotic platform for minimally invasive surgery built around an open architecture that can combine robotic and conventional laparoscopic instruments. Its design uses a mobile robotic column and separate instrument arms, allowing surgical teams to configure the system around the operating table and retain familiar laparoscopic workflows.
The system is progressing through clinical and regulatory development in Europe. Bitrack supported a second series of live-patient procedures at Hospital Clinic de Barcelona, including partial and radical nephrectomies and radical prostatectomies, while Rob Surgical moved toward final European certification. The company was created as a Barcelona spin-off in 2012 and operates from the Barcelona area.
