Movu Robotics opens Lokeren headquarters and experience centre
Movu Robotics opened a combined headquarters, engineering, research, production and customer-demonstration campus in Lokeren to support growth of its warehouse shuttle, AMR and picking-robot portfolio.
Evidence notes
- The site included roughly 5,000 square metres of offices, 10,000 square metres for logistics and manufacturing and a 2,500-square-metre high-bay experience centre.
- The experience centre measures about 100 by 25 metres and demonstrates Movu atlas, escala, ifollow and eligo systems in live warehouse conditions.
- Movu expected to employ more than 300 people across Europe and the United States by the end of 2023.
Company context
Movu Robotics develops modular warehouse automation combining shuttle robots, pallet robots, AMRs, robotic picking and control software. Created within stow Group, it integrates robots with racking to provide scalable storage, retrieval, transport and piece-picking systems.
