Overwatch Imaging PT-8 Oceanwatch demonstrated on CAMCOPTER S-100 during NATO exercise
Schiebel and Thales demonstrated the CAMCOPTER S-100’s anti-submarine, ISR, search-and-rescue, and cargo-delivery capabilities during REPMUS and Dynamic Messenger 2022 in Portugal.
Evidence notes
- Equipped with Overwatch Imaging’s PT-8 Oceanwatch and a Wescam MX-10, the S-100 automatically detected and identified small objects at sea across different sea states.
- The exercise also included operational trials in which the S-100 relayed maritime sensor data and delivered medical supplies from a port to a nearby ship.
