Brokk launches Pedestal Boom range for primary rock breaking
Brokk introduced a stationary, remotely operated breaker-boom family based on its demolition-robot arm and power-pack architecture for crushers, grizzlies and confined mining environments.
Evidence notes
- The range debuted in Brokk 200, 300, 500 and 900 Pedestal Boom sizes, with the Brokk 300 scheduled for display at MINExpo 2021.
- The three-part arm provides 360-degree slewing; standard radio control reaches 300 metres, while networked operation can extend to 2,000 metres or more depending on the installation.
- The Brokk 900 configuration was specified with a BHB 1500 breaker delivering 3,050 J/Nm at 330–680 blows per minute.
