  • Ouster rates the Rev8 OS1 Max at ±0.25 cm 1σ precision and ±1.25 cm accuracy, about twice the Rev7 generation, with a spot size up to 50% smaller for resolving power lines and wires from altitude.
  • Ouster says the Rev8 OS1 Max is the first native-color lidar: RGB is assigned at the detector rather than aligned from a separate camera, which removes parallax and a standalone calibration step between flight and deliverable.
  • Ouster names Flyability, Seneca and GeoCue among the drone OEMs and payload integrators adopting or evaluating the Rev8 platform.

Ouster builds digital lidar sensors, cameras and AI-powered perception software for robotics, industrial automation, automotive and smart infrastructure.
