JL MAG Rare-Earth says its embodied-robot motor-rotor modules have entered an order-driven production ramp after receiving a project nomination from an unnamed major global technology customer. In its October 28 third-quarter report, the Chinese magnet and components manufacturer said machining precision for the modules had reached the micrometre level and described production increasing against customer orders.
JL MAG recorded RMB428 million in sales across its robotics and industrial-servo motor applications during January–September 2026, up 101.77% from the same period a year earlier. Its automotive and auto-parts business separately generated RMB3.752 billion, up 43.44%, giving the motor-component initiative a manufacturing base already supplying electric drivetrains and other high-efficiency equipment.
Group revenue reached RMB7.566 billion in the nine months, up 40.81%, with attributable net profit rising 47.48% to RMB760.2 million. The company's main business is high-performance rare-earth permanent magnets used in motors, and the rotor programme extends its position toward more integrated electromechanical assemblies for embodied robots. JL MAG has also described investment in high-performance magnet capacity and manufacturing automation; its product-development and customer-qualification work sits alongside its much larger automotive and industrial component operations.
