Nuro moved from operating delivery vehicles to licensing autonomy across vehicle types

Nuro paused the capital-intensive expansion of its autonomous delivery service, reduced staff and redirected its technology toward licensing the Nuro Driver to automakers and mobility operators. Later vehicle programmes with partners do not restore the earlier model in which Nuro designed, owned and operated a large fleet of purpose-built delivery robots.
