Celanese and VIGOR partner on plastic humanoid joints

The companies agreed to combine engineered polymers and precision gear manufacturing for humanoid-robot joint development.

Celanese supplies engineered polymers for industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, AGVs and humanoids. Its robotics portfolio covers gears, bearing cages, grippers, sensor and connector parts, cable-management systems, batteries, wheels and structural components.
