Carbon and adidas introduce Futurecraft 4D footwear

The collaboration uses Digital Light Synthesis to manufacture lattice midsoles with tuned cushioning and stability.

Carbon develops Digital Light Synthesis printers, software and polymer materials for industrial, consumer and dental manufacturing. It offers printer subscriptions and outsourced part production; Cornell researchers have used its materials for robot components and compliant mechanisms.
