Puralink founders named in Forbes Australia 30 Under 30 for infrastructure robotics
Forbes Australia recognised Puralink three co-founders in its 30 Under 30 issue for commercialising an autonomous robot that inspects underground pipes, a business funded with more than 2 million dollars in capital.
Evidence notes
- The Ferret robot is 40 centimetres long and 150 millimetres wide and uses a camera and LiDAR to map underground pipes and locate leaks.
- Puralink raised 150,000 dollars from two angel investors early in 2025 after two years of bootstrapping, and also took part in the Cicada Fast Start programme and the 2025 Startmate Accelerator.
- The founders contrast their robot with existing manual crawlers costing almost 200,000 dollars, which they say must be removed and reinserted at corners or slopes.
