AgiBot and Kazakhstan partners propose local robotics production venture
The proposed venture combines local robot production with training-data and research facilities.

AgiBot announced a memorandum of understanding on 4 February 2025 to establish a robotics and AI venture in Kazakhstan. The agreement with the country’s digital development ministry, ewpartners and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation was signed during Digital Almaty 2025.
The proposed venture would localise robot production and implementation, with financing contemplated from ewpartners and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation. AgiBot and the ministry also planned a robot-training data factory, alongside a research centre and exhibition of prototype systems.
Founded in 2023, AgiBot reported that its Shanghai facility had produced 1,000 robots by December 2024. That figure describes its Chinese production base. The Kazakhstan announcement concerned planned facilities and a proposed venture, with no disclosed local manufacturing output or annual capacity.
