AGILINK passes 15,000 dexterous-hand shipments as OmniHand tackles Suzhou embroidery

AGILINK’s OmniHand 3 Ultra is learning delicate embroidery tasks as the company reports more than 15,000 dexterous hands shipped.

AGILINK says it has shipped more than 15,000 dexterous robotic hands since spinning out of AGIBOT in January 2026. The cumulative shipment figure is the company's own disclosure.

Its latest demonstration uses OmniHand 3 Ultra to learn foundational Suzhou embroidery techniques from master craftswoman Fu Xianghong. The tasks include separating silk threads, threading a needle, stretching fabric on an embroidery hoop and stitching. Thin, deformable silk demands precise positioning and continuous control of contact and tension.

OmniHand 3 Ultra has 21 active degrees of freedom, a fully direct-drive architecture and tactile sensing across its fingertips, finger pads and palm. Vision-based tactile sensors at each fingertip detect changes in the contact surface as the hand manipulates thread and fabric.

The demonstration follows AGILINK's participation in all eight dexterous-hand events at the World Humanoid Robot Games in August. The company says its OmniHand series won seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals. AGILINK sees delicate-material manipulation as relevant to cable handling, flexible-material assembly and precision-component work.
