Jack Technology's Aitu robotics business has launched the Aini embodied sewing robot and Production Line King garment-automation system, disclosing live production applications at two major apparel manufacturers. Aini is operating at Chenfeng Group across five shirt-making processes covering collars, cuffs, pockets, buttonholes and buttons. Shengtai Group has implemented a line combining seven Aini robots with CNC sewing stations, automated fabric cutting, material sorting and logistics. The systems were presented publicly at an October 28 launch event in Hangzhou.
Aini is designed to identify, pick up, flatten and realign deformable cloth before stitching. The company describes a vision system, specialised fabric-handling end effector and a task-control model coordinating those operations. The China launch price is RMB308,000 per robot. Jack Technology reported eleven strategic cooperation agreements for Aini and six for integrated lines at the event.
At Shengtai, company-reported figures compare a conventional forty-person production line with twelve staff for the new arrangement at equivalent capacity. A twenty-hour production period is reported to yield 1,000 solid-colour shirts or 700 patterned shirts, with 5% less fabric waste and a payback period below three years.
The project expands an established sewing-equipment manufacturer into robot-guided manipulation of soft materials, one of the harder areas for industrial automation. In June, Jack Technology announced a collaboration with Siemens covering low-code software, digital engineering and industrial AI for sewing equipment and humanoid robotics. The Shengtai installation links robot handling to upstream cutting, transport and the existing CNC sewing process.
