Badger Technologies is building Marty robots into retail shelf operations
More than 300 Stop & Shop stores, Marty upgrades, and Digital Teammate analytics give Badger a retail aisle automation record.
Badger Technologies and Stop & Shop announced upgraded Marty robots across more than 300 stores in September 2023, following the initial 2019 rollout.
The store workflow is aisle traversal for hazard detection, shelf checks, and associate alerts.
Badger launched its Digital Teammate platform on May 8, 2025. The platform uses mobile data, analytics, and computer vision to support out-of-stock checks, price discrepancy detection, safety hazard alerts, and food-safety monitoring.
