Brain Corp reports 5.3M autonomous operating hours in first half of 2026

Brain Corp reported more than 5.3 million autonomous operating hours across BrainOS-powered robots in the first half of 2026, up 24% year on year. In its 6 August update, the San Diego company said global deployments grew 68% and the cumulative installed base surpassed 50,000 robots.

The company reported more than 3.7 billion square feet of autonomous coverage during the six months, an increase of 400 million square feet from the corresponding period of 2025. This is an operating-activity measure, including repeated visits to the same areas. BrainOS powers commercial cleaning and inventory applications across retail, logistics, airports and other public-facing environments.

Brain Corp supplies the autonomy platform used by equipment manufacturers and service partners. It cited an expanded strategic relationship with Tennant Company and a new partnership with ShelfOptix as contributors to its ecosystem’s growth. Its software combines navigation with fleet management and operational data rather than representing a single robot model.

The company also reported SOC 2 Type II compliance and continued development of semantic mapping. It describes a contextual-grounding layer intended to help robots interpret activity around them and handle more complex work in changing commercial environments. The reported operating hours cover H1 2026, while the 50,000-robot milestone is cumulative.
