Delta Intelligence unveils Δ₀ humanoid foundation model

Δ₀ coordinates whole-body humanoid locomotion and manipulation in household task demonstrations.

Delta Intelligence has unveiled Δ₀ (Delta-0), a humanoid foundation model designed to coordinate locomotion and manipulation through a single whole-body policy. The company says the model controls 69 degrees of freedom across the robot's body.

In demonstrations supplied by Delta, humanoids make a bed, handle household objects and operate a record player. Delta describes the execution as near-human speed.

Δ₀ builds on Delta Intelligence's work on native humanoid foundation models. The company aims to combine spatial understanding, task reasoning and whole-body control and transfer model capabilities across different humanoid platforms.

Founded in Beijing in January 2026, Delta had completed six financing rounds by July. Its latest was a nearly RMB 500 million Angel++ round, equivalent to roughly USD 70 million at the time. Earlier backers included humanoid manufacturers AgiBot, Leju Robotics and Galaxea AI.
