Dexterity introduces mobile dual-arm Mech for industrial loading and palletising
Mech launches for truck loading, with a mobile base, two arms and further task software planned.

Dexterity introduced Mech on 17 March 2025, a mobile dual-arm robot available initially for truck loading. The company rates the system for 65 pounds per arm, up to 130 pounds combined and box placement as high as eight feet. Additional software applications for palletising, depalletising, unloading and other industrial tasks were planned during 2025.
Mech mounts two manipulation arms on a rover with four independently steerable wheels, allowing it to travel between work areas. Its onboard computer runs models for perception, grasping, arm coordination and packing. The company describes tactile sensing for fragile packages and up to 16 cameras for identifying objects and planning placements.
The system is designed for existing industrial facilities and integration with legacy automation. Dexterity says one associate can supervise up to 10 Mechs and lists an operating temperature range of 32–122°F. These are manufacturer specifications and supervision claims. At launch, the commercial application was truck loading, with the wider task portfolio dependent on subsequent software releases.
