Figure introduced its third-generation humanoid on 9 October 2025 with redesigned hands, cameras and electronics intended to support its Helix vision-language-action system. The company specified twice the prior camera frame rate, one-quarter the latency and 60% wider field of view per camera, with a camera embedded in each palm to maintain close-range visibility during manipulation. The platform also incorporated wireless charging, improved audio, soft external materials and revised battery-safety provisions.
The robot is 9% lighter than Figure 02 and uses soft external textiles, tactile fingertips and redesigned hands for manipulation. Cameras in the palms preserve close-range visibility when objects become obscured from the head cameras. Inductive charging through the feet supplies up to 2 kW, allowing the robot to recharge without an operator connecting a cable.
Figure designed the platform around its BotQ manufacturing programme, with a first production line targeting capacity of 12,000 robots per year and a longer-term goal of 100,000 robots over four years. These are production plans rather than completed deliveries. In July, the company had disclosed the F.03 battery’s 2.3 kWh capacity and claimed five-hour operating time, alongside active cooling and changes to the pack’s structural design.
