Forterra AutoDrive enters Oshkosh ROGUE-Fires ground autonomy production programme

Forterra announced a production contract on 13 January 2025 to supply AutoDrive autonomy technology for Oshkosh Defense’s ROGUE-Fires unmanned ground vehicle programme supporting the US Marine Corps. The announcement followed two low-rate initial production orders for ROGUE-Fires in fiscal 2025.

Oshkosh supplies the vehicle platform, while Forterra contributes autonomous mobility software and supporting systems. AutoDrive is designed for integration into equipment produced by established manufacturers and supports off-road ground-vehicle operations.

The agreement takes the companies’ collaboration into a named production programme. Forterra did not disclose the value of its subcontract or the number of AutoDrive systems covered. The production selection therefore records a commercial integration milestone without establishing a completed operational fleet.
